Russian University Teachers’ Perceptions of Scientometrics

چکیده

This article is devoted to the attitude of Russian university teachers toward scientometrics and its indicators, which have been imposed on them by administrations state since 2012. In addition substantiating problem’s urgency, contains a brief critical outline main scientometric parameters their application in practice Russia. To evaluate this, 283 people from leading universities Russia (included Program 5-100) were questioned. As study showed, faculties understand specifics scientometrics, relate it relatively positively, over past years able adapt new requirements administration regarding implementing tasks standards. The higher position scholarly qualification respondent, more complete knowledge about scientometrics. Scholars humanities know comparatively better than representatives technical general scientific specialties.
